Why wood wick soy candles burn better

A candle is three things: wax, wick and fragrance. We use 100% soy wax because it is renewable, burns cooler and slower than paraffin, and produces up to 90% less soot. We pair it with a wood wick because a wood wick throws scent more evenly across a wide 14 oz melt pool and adds a soft fireplace crackle that cotton wicks can't. And we use phthalate-free fragrance oils blended in-house, so what you smell is the note on the label and nothing else.

Getting the full burn

Let the first burn reach the edges of the glass, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before every burn, and keep burns under four hours. That routine gets you the full 80 hours. A wick trimmer makes it a ten-second habit.

Why a wood wick instead of cotton?

A wood wick burns with a low, wide flame and a soft crackle, and it spreads heat more evenly across a 14 oz melt pool, which helps soy wax burn cleanly edge to edge with less soot.

How long does each candle burn?

Up to 80 hours on every scent, with the wick trimmed to about 1/4 inch and burns kept under four hours.

Which scent should I start with?
